Museum
Drums and transport machinery in aged pine stands as sculptural works against the white walls. Axles, wheels and drive belts give us an insight into the ingenious schemes that kept the machines running on the mill's three floors.
A completely intact environment from the 1940s which also shows art exhibitions.
Stjärnsfors Mill from 1668 is to count as the Uddeholm Company's cradle. In the museum reflects the mill's history in words and pictures together with old objects and tools.
Two models show different periods in the mill.
Rent a trolley
Rent a trolley and go from Stjärnsfors Kvarn (mill) in Uddeholm to Hagfors Railroadmuseum which is 12 kms, roundtrip. Experience the beautiful nature and why not stop and enjoy a nice picnic.

Some of the trolleys also have a childseat.

You can rent the trolleys for three hours.
The rent also includes a visit to the Industrial- and Railroadmuseum.
